Bible Reading Update for April 2021

I’m posting the update a little early because my husband is going to have lower back surgery soon. I will be busy caring for him during recovery. I plan to take a couple of weeks off from blogging and reviewing to focus on him.

In the month of March, I decided not to renew the monthly She Reads Truth subscription box. I read 1 and 2 Thessalonians along with She Reads Truth before it stopped. All Scripture read from the CSB.

For the Psalms Saturated Reading Plan Version 3, I read Psalms 27 to 41. All Scripture read from NRSV.

In Bible Study Fellowship, we are finishing up our study of Genesis. Only two more weeks left. I’ve read Genesis chapters 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, and 47. All Scripture is read from the NIV.

I’m reading a 5 day chronological Bible reading plan that I first heard about from Tim Challies. Since my last update,
I’ve read in this reading plan Joshua 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24. Judges 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21. Psalm 15, 116, 16, 17, 146, and 21. The last update I did not mention the NT readings. But, I have read the book of Luke. I’ve read Acts 1 and 2. All Scripture read in the NRSV. I read several devotional books that all have Bible verses to read. I read all of them from the NRSV. The devotional books are Our Daily BreadNew Morning Mercies by Paul David Tripp, Tabletalk by Ligonier Ministries, and What Really Matters from Our Daily Bread.
